Return Policy

How to Exchange or Return a Product

Prior to returning products for exchange or refund, customers must contact ThePrinterInkOutlet.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Please note, no product returns will be accepted without a ThePrinterInkOutlet.com provided RMA.

When initiating an exchange or return, please be prepared to provide:

 
  • Order Number
  • Date of Order
  • Specific item(s) to be returned
  • Reason for Return

Once a RA has been issued, ThePrinterInkOutlet.com team member will provide instructions as to how this item is to be returned. In most cases, a pre-paid shipping label will be provided via email or standard mail. If the label issued by ThePrinterInkOutlet.com is not utilized, the shipping cost for returning merchandise will be the customer’s responsibility. No more than one return label will be issued.

Ordering Errors

We are happy to take back product ordered in error but understand  a 20% restocking fee will be applied. ThePrinterInkOutlet.com must be notified of the error within two (2) business days of the delivery. Returns must be in the original packaging and factory sealed. If the product is not received in salable condition, no refund will be issued. Shipping costs incurred for the return of the product(s) will be at the customer’s expense. A ThePrinterinkOutlet.com issued RMA is required.

Remanufactured/Compatible Products:

ThePrinterInkOutlet.com offers a One Year Performance Warranty. If for any reason you recieve a defective product, ThePrinterInkOutlet.com will replace a defective product with an equivalent non-defective product. This ThePrinterInkOutlet.com warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship only. Any non-defective return after 60 days may result in a 20% restocking fee.

The following conditions are not covered under our warranty:
  • Products damaged from abuse, misuse, tampering, overcharging, improper installation, neglect, freezing or improper conditioning 
  • Removal of any warranty, lot number or serial number markings or stickers 

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Products:

OEM products (such as HP, Canon, and Xerox- branded products) are warranted for the length of the OEM warranty. Please contact the manufacturer directly for all defective products. We do NOT accept any opened OEM product and they will be recycled upon receipt without a notification.

We will accept any unopened and resalable OEM ink & toner for a return within 30 days of original purchase. These products must be in their original and unopened packaging and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus your return shipping fees.
